MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH ALL THE FAMILY'S OF THE BRAVE TROOPS. GOD BLESS YOU ALL. XOXOXOX

THE FINAL INSPECTION

THE FINAL INSPECTION

THE SOLDIER STOOD AND FACED HIS GOD
WHICH MUST ALWAYS COME TO PASS
HE HOPED HIS SHOES WERE SHINING
JUST AS BRIGHTLY AS HIS BRASS

'STEP FORWARD NOW YOU SOLDIER,
HOW SHALL I DEAL WITH YOU?
HAVE YOU ALWAYS TURNED TO OTHER CHEEK?
TO MY CHURCH HAVE YOU BEEN TRUE?'

THE SOLDIER SQUARED HIS SHOULDERS AND SAID
'NO, LORD I GUESS I AINT
BUT THOSE OF US WHO CARRY GUNS,
CANT ALWAYS BE A SAINT

I'VE HAD TO WORK MOST SUNDAYS,
AND AT TIMES MY TALK IS TOUGH
AND SOMETIMES IVE BEEN VIOLENT
BECAUSE THE WORLD IS AWFULLY ROUGH

BUT I NEVER TOOK A PENNY
THAT WASN'T MINE TO KEEP
THOUGH I WORKED ALOT OF OVER TIME
WHEN BILLS GOT JUST TOO STEEP

AND I NEVER PASSED A CRY FOR HELP
THOUGH AT TIMES I SHOOK WITH FEAR.
AND SOMETIMES GOD FORGIVE ME
IVE WEPT UNMANLY TEARS

I KNOW I DONT DESERVE A PLACE
AMONG THESE PEOPLE HERE
THEY NEVER WANTED ME AROUND
EXCEPT TO CALM THEIR FEARS

IF YOU'VE A PLACE HERE, LORD
IT NEEDN'T BE SO GRAND,
I NEVER EXPECTED OR HAD TOO MUCH
BUT IF YOU DONT IL UNDERSTAND

THERE WAS A SILENCE ALL AROUND THE THRONE
WHERE THE SAINTS HAD OFTEN TROD
AS THE SOLDIER WAITED QUIETLY
FOR THE JUDGMENT OF HIS GOD

'STEP FORWARD NOW, YOU SOLDIER
YOU'VE BORNE YOUR BURDENS WELL
WALK PEACEFULLY IN HEAVENS STREETS
YOU'VE DONE YOUR TIME IN HELL.'

STARBUCKS COFFEE..DON'T THINK SO!!

Guess I will not be drinking Starbucks anymore!
Recently Marines in Iraq wrote to Starbucks because they wanted to let them know how much they liked their coffees and to request that they send some of it to the troops there.

Starbucks replied, telling the Marines thank you for their support of their business, but that Starbucks does not support the war, nor anyone in it, and that they would not send the troops their brand of coffee.

So as not to offend Starbucks, maybe we should not support them by buying any of their products! I feel we should get this out in the open.
I know this war might not be very popular with some folks, but that doesn't mean we don't support the boys on the ground fighting street-to-street and house-to-house.

You can discard this and no one will ever know.

Thanks very much for your support. I know you'll be there again when our troops deploy once more.

PLEASE DON'T DELETE THIS. ALLOW IT TO BE PASSED TO ALL IN MEMORY OF ALL THE TROOPS WHO HAVE DIED SO THAT WE MAY HAVE THE RIGHT TO CHOOSE TO SUPPORT
THEM OR NOT!!!

To everyone

I wish it never had to be this way.

But Our Boys are giving their all because they believe they can make a difference. Britain should be supporting them 100%.

God Bless those brave guys and girls that have paid the ultimate sacrifice. May God keep them close to Him, because there are no people better to have next to you. And may He protect those that are still fighting.

Two of my friends are in Afghanistan, while another did his tour of Iraq. I pray that the two fighting now, along with every other serving soldier, come back to their loved ones.
